The following are the details of equipping ministry in various training programs for both the church planters and the church ministry leaders

Pre-Missionary Training Institute (PMTI):

Pre-Missionary Training is a one month non-traditional training program to disciple the trainees from rural context, to prepare them to win people for Christ and plant churches in villages and colonies where there is no church. The candidates selected for Pre-MTI course are new to the ministry and this course is conducted for a month. This one month training enables the trainee to equip and grow in Christ, and be sensitive to their commitment to God and His Mission. After this training they are processed to a two year certificate training program know as Missionary Training Institute.

It is a field based training designed for the trainees who have already undergone two years Missionary Training program. The equipping process involves observations, involvement and interaction over a period of 8 to 10 training programs. About 8 to 10 evangelists are grouped into a team. The team is involved in 4 to 5 days of practical work and a few hours of teaching. The trainees are encouraged to use their gifts so that the trainer can mentor their efforts on the field. They are also shown how to integrate the various methods of evangelism that were taught to them in the first two years to help them in planting a church. As a result of their concentrated efforts of house visitation, mass evangelism, early morning preaching, prayer meetings, personal evangelism and the screening of Jesus film, God enables them to see a response in just 4 to 5 days. The onsite training provides way for direct evangelism and follow-up work which results in planting of a church in the selected village.
