I was leading a very bad life until one day I heard the gospel message through Brother Mr. Zachariah Poonen in 1968 March. He spoke for six days but during one of those meetings, I was convinced that I was a sinner. I repented and asked God to forgive my sins and come into my heart. Later, I contacted Mr. Mangkho who told me about Hindustan Bible Institute. That is how by the grace of God I am here today. I would like to complete this course and return home and share God’s word.

My name is Mr. P. S. Stephen. I was born and brought up in a Christian family in Kerala. We belong to Marthoma Church. After completing high school, I joined the A.M.E and started living a wicked life joining with the wrong companions. I was sixteen years old when I accepted God and wanted to serve the youth. When I came to Madras, God taught me not to put my confidence in man, I prayed and cried to God who wonderfully provided my needs. I came to HBI to study more about the word of God. After completing my course, I would like to work among youths.

I had many friends who did not know God and I often prayed for them. One day, I went to a convention and the speaker said, “That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. This made me think that I was a sinner too. I repented of all my sins and asked God to forgive me. Then I was very interested to know more about God. When I heard about this institution I was very happy and applied to it. I am very happy to be here and after completing my course I would like to return to my native place and be an evangelist. Please do pray for me.
