- Problem – Genesis 17: 1a

- Power of God – Genesis 17: 1b
God reveals His power to bless Abraham after he reconciles with God.
- Peace of God – Gen 17:2
Once Abraham reconciles with God, God makes a covenant of peace to bless Abraham and multiply him exceedingly.
- Praise to God: Gen 17:3
Abraham falls to the ground and praises God for the covenant He made with him.
- Promise of God: Gen 17: 4-8
In verse 5, we can see that God promises Abraham that he will be the father of many nations and changes his name from Abram to Abraham. God’s promise brought hope to Abraham’s heart, and today, his seeds have filled the earth.
This is the hope a name can bring in one’s life.
