As we begin this new month, God calls us to arise and shine. The darkness of Isaiah 59 is replaced by the hope of Isaiah 60: “Your light has come.” That Light is Jesus Christ, who shines into every darkness (John 8:12).
Light always overcomes darkness. When Christ enters our lives, fear turns to faith, despair to hope, and weakness to strength. Whatever darkness you face, it will not have the final word—Jesus will.
God is not asking you to create your own light; He is calling you to reflect His light. The more you walk with Christ, the more His glory is seen in your life. Your words, your actions, your faith, and your testimony become a beacon that leads others to Him.
Rise above every circumstance. Walk in His light, and many will be drawn to Christ through your life. Arise. Shine. Your Light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon you! Hallelujah!
